Functional Masterbatches

Additive masterbatches that change the properties of a film or product, or make processing easier. For packaging there is antifog against condensation droplets, Slip to reduce friction, and antistatic. For products used outdoors or in electrical applications there are UV stabiliser and flame retardant. For processing, Process Aid removes shark skin and lowers pressure in the extruder, a desiccant lets you run damp recyclate, and an antioxidant with odour absorber protects the polymer from thermal degradation. Clarifier and nucleator for PP raise clarity and stiffness. Dosage is taken from the technical data sheet (TDS).
