Masterbatch Slip (Slip Additive)

Slip masterbatch is a functional additive designed to reduce the coefficient of friction (COF) on the surface of polymer films. It prevents film blocking and ensures smooth sliding, which is essential for high-speed packaging lines (FFS), filling applications, and bag production. After extrusion, the additive migrates to the surface, forming a thin lubricating layer without affecting the film’s optical or mechanical properties.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do you supply only raw materials, or do you also provide technical support?

We are a full-cycle B2B distributor. Our key service is turnkey technical support.
We do not simply sell raw materials or masterbatch; our technologist helps you select the right formulation (LDR/MFI), supports the pilot launch on your equipment, and assists in setting up the process parameters so you achieve the desired result with minimal waste.

Which cities in Georgia do you deliver to?

We provide B2B deliveries throughout the entire territory of Georgia.
Our warehouse enables us to ship products quickly both to Tbilisi and to other industrial regions.
We organize logistics in a way that ensures your production receives raw materials and consumables consistently and on schedule, avoiding downtime.

How does the color matching process work — by Pantone or by a physical sample?

You provide us with a reference: a Pantone/RAL code or a physical sample of your product (for example, a cap or a film).
Our laboratory develops the formulation, selects the pigments, and produces a laboratory sample.
We send this sample to you for approval.
After the color is approved, we produce the industrial batch, guaranteeing precise shade consistency from batch to batch.

What is the difference between your “Bio-masterbatch” (PLM) and “compostable” bags?

These are fundamentally different technologies. “Compostable” materials (such as PLA) require specialized industrial composting facilities.
Our biotransformation additives (Polymateria / Lyfecycle technologies) work differently: they give conventional plastics (PE/PP) a controlled lifespan.
After this period expires, in an uncontrolled environment (on land or in water), the material begins to fully break down into water, CO₂, and biomass — leaving no microplastics behind.

What are LDR and MFI, and why do you always ask about them?

These are critically important technical parameters.
LDR (Let Down Ratio) is the percentage of additive (masterbatch) added to your base material.
MFI (Melt Flow Index) — also known as MFR — is the melt flow rate, essentially the “viscosity” or fluidity of the polymer.

We need this information to select a masterbatch or raw material that is perfectly compatible with your equipment and will not cause issues during molding or extrusion.

I use a lot of recycled material (recyclate). Do you have solutions for this?

Yes, this is one of our key areas of expertise. For working with recyclate (rPE/rPP), we offer a full package of solutions:

    • Mineral filler (CaCO₃): reduces production cost and increases stiffness.

    • Desiccant: removes moisture from washed flakes without the need for drying.

    • Anti-odor absorber: neutralizes the smell of recycled material.

    • Antioxidant: restores the thermal stability of the polymer that was degraded during the first processing cycle.

I work with flexographic printing. What can you offer besides inks?

We offer comprehensive supplies for flexographic and rotogravure printing.
In addition to inks (UV, alcohol-based, water-based), we supply varnishes (gloss, matte, thermal), primers for difficult surfaces, double-sided mounting tapes for plates with different hardness levels, doctor blades (steel/plastic), and cleaning solutions (separately for anilox rollers and for printing plates).

Can I buy 10 kg of masterbatch or 25 kg of raw material from you?

We specialize in industrial B2B supplies, not retail sales.
However, we provide test batches (samples) of 5–10 kg for pilot runs at your production facility.
This is an essential part of the project: you test the product on your line, we approve the result together, and then we move on to regular supplies in standard packaging (25 kg bags, pallets).

Do you supply only raw materials, or equipment as well?

We supply both raw materials and equipment, ensuring full technological compatibility.
We can deliver a turnkey solution — for example, an A-B-A extruder, a bag-making machine, and a complete formulation for them (HDPE raw material, CaCO₃ filler, color masterbatch), which we will commission and fine-tune on this equipment ourselves.

What information do you need from me to select the raw material or additive?

To provide an accurate recommendation, we need to know:

    • Your base polymer (e.g., HDPE, PP Homo, LLDPE).

    • Your equipment (Extruder / Injection Molding Machine / Flexographic Printer).

    • The final product and its thickness/weight (e.g., 10 µm film, 1.5 kg crate).

    • Any special requirements (food contact approval, UV resistance, work with recyclate, “bio” functionality).
